Fleet coffee sells Kochere coffee with a satisfying mouthfeel

What's a good thing to do when you have a week off from work? Visit unknown coffee shops. Tatiana, Gabo, and I stopped by Fleet a few days ago.

Tatiana crosses the street to drink coffee at Fleet.
East Austin, 2427 Webberville Road, Austin, TX 78702

I chose Fleet because an article identified it as one of the best coffee shops in Austin and we were in the neighborhood just a few blocks away at Casa Colombia eating lunch. Inside Fleet, I ordered a Kochere pour over coffee to drink outside and a 12 oz bag to take home.

Kochere Ethiopia beans in a bag on my table. Madcap Coffee Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan roasted them on 11/14/16. How do you like that label?

This coffee doesn't have that blueberry flavor I am always anticipating, but it tastes delicious. And the pleasant mouthfeel after each drink implores me to drink more. Here are my tasting notes.

I'll put this one in my top five coffees so far. The coffee shop, Fleet, is small and friendly. I like their coffee cups. They look and feel like they were handmade by a local artisan. Gabo broke the handle off of his cup. The barista said it happens all of the time. I'm looking forward to returning to Fleet not to spend time there but to try another great coffee.
